Field 1 One character indicator of 0 signifying a price record
Field 2 Primary Item # 13 characters maximum
Field 3 Secondary Item # 13 characters maximum
Field 4 Tertiary Item # 13 characters maximum
Field 5 U.S. Suggested Retail 7 characters-2 decimal places (xxxx.xx)
Field 6 Canadian Suggested Retail 7 characters-2 decimal places (xxxx.xx)
Field 7 Distributors That Carry Item See Table 24
Field 8 Title 75 characters maximum
Field 9 Total Units Sold numeric
Field 10 Status See Table 29

The order of the item numbers (Field 2, 3, or 4) is immaterial. For example, Field 2 could be UPC, Field 3 EAN, and Field 4 ISBN. Or, Field 2 could be ISBN, Field 3 EAN, and Field 4 vendor number.

A typical entry line for a price record would appear as follows:

Example 2: 0~97807897068570~0789706857~~49.99~~~My Title~7000~ACTcr/lf

Note in Example 2 that there are only two item numbers, hence the double tilde after the second item number. Also there is no Canadian price nor distributor, hence the three tildes between the U.S. retail price and the Title.
